What do you need to do?

Step 1. Open your existing key, take out the electronics and immobilizer and place them in the new folding key. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all - you now have a properly functioning folding key again.
