How does it work?
You have two methods for sharpening your car key. You can sharpen the car key based on the key code or by making a copy of your existing key.
Method 1: Grinding by key number
Do you have the Key Number (key code) of your car key? Then we can sharpen the car key based on this code. You do not have to come to us or send us your spare key. The key number usually consists of a letter followed by 4 or 5 digits. For example, for Toyota 22930 and for Fiat DE.9.8.7.5.3 .
The key code can be found on the pass you received with your car. Sometimes the key code can also be found on the black label you received with your (spare) key. Not found? Call the dealer, they can view / retrieve the key code for you.
If we need to sharpen the car key based on the key code, you can place this "Car Key Sharpening Service" in your shopping cart together with the desired car key. When you checkout your order, you need to put the key code and the license plate number of your car key in the "comments" field. We will then send you the ordered car key sharpened. Delivery time for a sharpened car key is 2 to 3 business days.
Method 2: Making a copy of an existing car key
If you do not have a key code, we can sharpen your car key by making a copy of your current key. If you wish to use this, we must have your car key. You can send your car key to us or make an appointment after you have ordered the "Car Key Grinding Service".

If you wish to send the car key to us, please put it in the "comments field" when placing the order. You will receive additional information within 24 hours so you can send the car key.
