This 2-button smart card housing, compatible with Renault, is ideal for replacing your damaged or defective smart card. The smart card is compatible with the Renault Laguna, among other models.
What do we provide?
You’ll receive a complete smart card. That is, a smart card that includes the electronics (remote control) and a transponder. The electronics allow you to lock and unlock the car remotely. The transponder (also known as an immobilizer) allows you to start the car.

How does it work?
The programming (also known as pairing, learning, or initialization) of this car key must be performed by a car dealership, professional repair shop, or automotive diagnostics company. Before ordering, check with a local company to see if they can program the key for you.
Please note: This smart card is not pre-programmed by the manufacturer. As a result, the car key cannot be programmed by a dealer. This is because the dealer orders a pre-programmed car key from the importer or wholesaler based on your chassis number (vehicle identification number).
What should you do?
Step 1. Check with a local auto shop, specialty garage, or automotive diagnostics company to see if they can program smart cards with electronic components.
Step 2. Order the required smart card and have it programmed by a car dealership, specialty garage, or automotive diagnostics company.
Step 3. Have the emergency key (metal key) cut by a locksmith or key-cutting shop.
