Description
For Renault suitable 2-button key housing with straight key blade (VA6) to replace your damaged or defective key housing. The key is suitable for Renault Kangoo, Renault Traffic, Renault Master and Renault Clio, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a functioning key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics, battery and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.

We rarely receive reports like this, but in some cases, the contact tab on the battery compartment may have become slightly bent—for example, during shipping or when replacing the battery. This prevents the battery from making proper contact with the circuit board. Fortunately, this is easy to fix by gently bending the tab back into place.
