Description
This Lexus compatible 3-button folding key (key blade straight) allows you to convert your old (damaged) key housing into a folding key. The key is suitable for Lexus ES300, Lexus GS/LS/LX, Lexus IS200, Lexus IS300, Lexus RX300 , among others .
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your key housing into a flip key without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check that your current key is model LEX10 . If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and transfer them to the new clapkey.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a locksmith.
Step 4. That's it, you now have a properly working clap key!

Lexus impact wrench2017-10-26The key works fine, but from now on I’d include instructions on how to take it apart and put it back together. If it falls apart when you’re removing it, like it did for me, it takes some effort to put it back together—especially with the spring. A brief description on the website would be helpful.Also, I ordered the key on the 18th and didn’t receive it until the 23rd. Belgium works on Saturdays and Mondays too, so that can’t be the reason.
