How do I replace the ignition key?
You can have a functioning ignition key again without technical knowledge.
What should you do?
Step 1. Open your existing ignition key take out the transponder/immobilizer and put it over the new ignition key. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new ignition key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
