Description
Volkswagen compatible 3-button folding key including electronics (433MHZ) and immobilizer (ID48). The key blade is straight with a notch on the side (HU66). This is an aftermarket product and is not an original Volkswagen part.
The key is suitable as an (extra) spare key and suitable for Volkswagen Beetle, Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen Passat and Volkswagen Polo, among others.
What do we deliver?
You will receive a complete car key. That is, a car key including electronics (remote control), transponder and battery. The electronics allow you to open and close the car remotely. The transponder (also called immobilizer) ensures that you can start the car.

How does it work?
The programming (also called pairing / learning / reading in) of this car key will have to be done by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostic company. Before ordering, check with a company in your area if they can program the key for you.
Note: This key is not pre-programmed by the manufacturer. Because of this, the car key cannot be programmed by a dealer. The dealer orders a pre-programmed car key from the importer/wholesaler based on your chassis number (vehicle identification number).

Step 1. Enquire at a local car dealer, specialist garage or car diagnostic company whether they can program keys with electronics.
