Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a fully functioning folding key again without any technical knowledge. After programming, you can use it immediately.
What do you need to do?
- Step 1. The circuit board and 7946 transponder are already in the housing - no transfer is required.
- Step 2. Transfer the key blade to the new housing or have it copied/sharpened at a key maker. Close the enclosure.
- Step 3. Have the key programmed with us or by a garage or key maker - then ready to use.
