With this 2-button flip key (the key blade has a notch on the left side), which is compatible with Toyota, you can convert your old (damaged) key casing into a flip key.
Is technical knowledge required?
No, that’s not necessary; you can turn your key casing into a flip key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check whether your current key is a
. If you have a different model, this flip key will not be compatible.
Step 2. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer, and transfer them to the new flip key.
Step 3. Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition lock) cut (duplicated):

Step 4. That’s it—you now have a fully functional flip key!
