Description
This Toyota-compatible 2-button folding key (point key blade has a notch on the left side) allows you to convert your old (damaged) key housing into a folding key.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your key housing into a flip key without technical knowledge.
What do you have to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model 1075. If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and transfer them to the new clapkey.
Step 3. Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) sharpened (copied):
(a.) We can take care of this for you. You can read how this works on the page "car key sharpening".
b.) Or have the key sharpened by a locksmith.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a working folding key!
