This car key contains no electronics or transponder chip. Your current circuit board and transponder need to be transferred.

Is technical knowledge necessary?
No, it is not necessary. You can have a functioning key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
- Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing.
- Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
- Step 3. That's it. You now have a functioning key housing again.
