Description
Rover compatible 2-button key housing with straight key blade (HU92R) to replace your damaged or defective key housing. The key is among others suitable for Rover 75.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a good working key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you have to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics, battery and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.

The delivery key took 6 weeks to arrive via the carrier2023-09-05On July 14,-2023, I sent some old and broken keys to Autosleutel for repair for my Rover 75, and after a week I received a message saying they had been restored to like-new condition and would be sent to me in Germany. Then came the ordeal: the carrier, Hermes, couldn’t find my address—it supposedly didn’t exist—even though I had already received five packages from France that the carrier had delivered without issue I sent them two emails asking where my package was. Thanks to the hard work of the folks at Autosleutel, who pushed to track down the package, Hermes sent it back to the Netherlands and forwarded it to my son there on August 4,The package arrived on August 4, 2023, and had been in transit for 6 weeks. My son brought me the keys; they were like new, and the car was happy with them too. I thank you all for the excellent assistance I received from you via phone and email.
