Is technical knowledge required?
No, that’s not necessary; you can have a fully functional key housing again without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer, and place them in the new key housing. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key cut (duplicated) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That’s it—you now have a fully functional key housing again.
Please note:
If your car key has a curve in the upper corner, this key housing is unfortunately not suitable. The curve is visible in the fifth photo. The model with the curve is unfortunately not available.
