For Renault suitable 3-button master key housing with straight key blade and notch in the middle (model 2230). This housing is intended to replace your damaged or worn out master key. The housing is delivered without electronics, transmitter or transponder.
What do we deliver?
- 1x empty 3-button master key housing (model 2230)
- 1x straight, unsharpened key blade with notch

How does it work?
This housing does not contain any electronics or transponder. You use the electronics and transponder from your original key or have a key with electronics programmed by a specialist.
Important: If you reuse the electronics from your old key, programming is usually not necessary. If you buy a complete key including electronics (available separately from some providers), then those electronics usually need to be programmed by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostic company.
What do you need to do?
- Open your old folding key and carefully remove the circuit board, transmitter and transponder (if any).
- Place these parts in the new flip-key housing and secure everything.
- Close the housing and check that the mechanical functions (flip mechanism, key blade) work properly.
Compare photos.
Carefully compare the photos of your current folding key with the offered housing. Note shape, button layout, key blade and the notch in the middle. If in doubt, please contact us via the contact page or livechat.
