Is technical knowledge necessary?
No, it is not necessary. You can transfer your current electronics and transponder into the new housing without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key and remove the circuit board and transponder.
Step 2. Place these parts in the new housing, transfer the key blade or have it sharpened, and close the housing.
Step 3. That's all - you now have a functioning key housing again.
