No, that is not necessary: you can have a fully functioning key housing without any technical knowledge. After transferring your own electronics, the housing is ready to use.
What do you need to do?
- Step 1. Open your existing key, take out the circuit board and transponder.
- Step 2. Place it in the new housing, add the straight key blade and close the housing.
- Step 3. Have the key programmed by us or a locksmith/garage - ready to use.
