Installing the transponder
Programming (pairing with your car) the transponder can only be done using specific software and equipment. A locksmith or car repair shop can generally take care of this for you. They will insert your old key into the equipment and then read the signal. They will then transfer the signal to the new key (transponder), so you can start the car (again).
