Description
Peugeot compatible 2-button key housing with straight key blade with side notch (HU83) to replace your damaged or defective key housing. Among others, the key is suitable for Peugeot 106, Peugeot 206, Peugeot 207, Peugeot 306, Peugeot 307, Peugeot 406 and Peugeot 407.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a good working key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics, battery and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.

OK as a replacement key2023-07-22Car key is good replacement for the original, I do have to buy a new one every year because of weak structure of the pressure cups of the housing, they are worn out after 1 year notwithstanding I press them with caution, especially when opening the door (the small round push button - Peugeot 307cc).But as I mentioned above, it is a lot cheaper than buying an original one. Pretty OK so.
