With this for Peugeot suitable 2-button flip key conversion kit with straight key blade (VA2) and battery on chip you can easily convert your old (damaged) key housing into a flip key. WITHOUT electronics.

Is technical knowledge necessary?
No, that is not necessary. You can turn your normal key housing into a flip key without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
- Check whether your current key is model 1172A. If you have another model, then this folding key is not suitable.
- Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and immobilizer and place them in the new folding key housing.
- Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition switch) sharpened (copied):
- a.) We can take care of this for you. You can read how this works on the page car key grinding.
- b.) Or have the key blade sharpened by a locksmith.
- Done - you now have a functioning folding key!
