Description
With this Peugeot compatible 2-button flip key with a straight key blade (VA2), you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a flip key.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a flip key without technical knowledge.
What do you have to do?
Step 1. Check whether your current key is model 1091A . If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter sub-cup and place them in the new flip key housing.
Step 3. Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition switch) sharpened (copied):
(a.) We can take care of this for you. You can read how this works on the page "car key sharpening".
b.) Or have the key sharpened by a locksmith.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a working folding key!
