Description
This Peugeot compatible 2-button folding key with straight blade (SX9) is ideal to replace your damaged or defective folding key. The key is suitable for Peugeot 806 and Peugeot Expert, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can without technical knowledge again have a good working folding key.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and insert them into the new clapkey. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a properly functioning folding key again.

Great product. Good price.2023-01-18Be very careful when taking it apart to replace the blade; you have to put it back together exactly the same way, otherwise it won't fit or the folding key's lock won't work.

doesn't look like it should.2016-01-21The garage saw no way to provide a new key. I was happy to hear about this option, which was suggested to me. It’s a shame that while it seems like a good idea, it misses the mark! The rubber used to operate the switches is so stiff that it takes a lot of effort to open the doors. It was also impossible to snap the key blade out. You can swap out the key, but that’s not possible without deforming the spring plate. The latch connection on the hinge came loose after a few days. Conclusion: a noble endeavor, but the execution falls short.
