Description
With this Opel-compatible 2-button folding key with point key blade and a notch left (HU46), you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a folding key. Among others suitable for Opel Corsa, Opel Monza, Opel Prisma and Opel Celta.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check that your current key is model OPEL19. If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter sub-cup and place them in the new flip key housing. Close the housing.
Step 3. Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition switch) sharpened (copied):
(a.) We can take care of this for you. You can read how this works on the "car key sharpening" page.
b.) Or have the key sharpened by a locksmith.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a working folding key!
