Description
With this Opel-compatible 2-button folding key with point key blade (HU46), you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a folding key.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a flip key without technical knowledge.
What do you have to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model OPEL10. If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter undercup and place them in the new flip key housing. Close the housing.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly functioning folding key!

Repair cq replace2020-05-12Easy and quick to make a new key. Only drawback is the clips for the battery. These can break quickly when transferring. Would be 5 stars if they were included as a spare.

Nice material but not fitting.2019-05-14I bought a folding key, but the + battery holder does not fit.Too bad the people at auto-key insist that it is the right one.... The original, from the still working key, fits perfectly and the auto-key.co.uk variant does not! So how can it be the right one? The supplied + battery holder is too narrow and does not clamp into the part of the housing where it should be inserted and clamped.

Plastic and large2019-01-07You can feel that it is not OEM quality. Does not feel like high quality material, it is also slightly on the large side. Furthermore, for only 20 euros you have a blow key, cobbler sharpened the beard 2.50.... Ready!Tension the spring by twisting the 2 housing parts 1x counterclockwise from each other, be careful to place the remote exactly in it. Then close the housing very carefully without moving the remote control, otherwise you will not be able to operate the buttons.
