With this 2-button flip key with a pointed key blade (HU46), compatible with Opel, you can convert your old (damaged) key casing into a flip key.
Is technical knowledge required?
No, that’s not necessary; you can turn your regular key casing into a flip key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check whether your current key is model
. If you have a different model, this flip key will not be compatible.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and ignition switch, and place them in the new flip key housing. Close the housing.
Step 3. Have your key duplicated by a locksmith.
Step 4. That’s it—you now have a fully functional flip key!

Nice material, but it doesn't fit.2019-05-14I bought a flip key, but the + battery holder doesn't fit. It's a shame that the people at auto-sleutel keep insisting that it is the right one.... The original one, from the key that still works, fits perfectly, but the auto-sleutel.nl version doesn’t! So how can it possibly be the right one?? The included + battery holder is too narrow and doesn’t lock into the part of the housing where it’s supposed to be inserted and secured.

Plastic and large2019-01-07You can tell it’s not OEM quality. It doesn’t feel like high-quality material, and it’s also a bit on the large side. Besides, for just 20 euros, you’re getting a cheap knockoff—the cobbler has charged 2.50 just for sharpening the blade... Done! Tension the spring by turning the two housing parts counterclockwise once, being careful to position the remote control exactly right. Then close the housing very carefully without moving the remote control, otherwise you won’t be able to operate the buttons.

Pocket Saver2018-01-07One of my Opel Corsa keys broke. I was looking for an alternative to the original “flat-head key,” which was ruining my pants and jacket pockets.
