Description
Mini compatible 3-button key housing with straight key blade (HU92R) to replace your damaged or defective key housing. The key is suitable for Mini Clubman, Mini Cabrio, Mini Cooper D and Mini Cooper S, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a properly working key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing. Close the housing.
Step 2. Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition switch) sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.

The key is more than2020-01-30The key is more than fine. Only the emblem that comes loose with it to stick on when you have converted the key is much too small.I carefully removed the emblem from the old key and stuck it on.

After entering, I found out2015-07-08After entering, I found that the key's beard was pressed/glued and could not be changed with a latch shaft. Then went to a key specialist who could fraise. Fraised copy of the old key and then transferred ncontent housing. The new Key works fine.
