Mercedes compatible ignition key with a space for a glass transponder chip to replace your damaged or defective ignition key. The key has a point key blade. The key is suitable for several Mercedes models.
How do I replace the ignition key?
You can have a functioning ignition key again without technical knowledge.
What should you do?
Step 1. Open your existing ignition key and remove the transponder/immobilizer and put it over the new ignition key.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new ignition key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a working ignition key again.
