This Mercedes compatible 3-button smart key housing is ideal to replace your damaged or defective smart key. Among others, the smart key is suitable for Mercedes Vito, Mercedes B-Class, Mercedes C-Class, Mercedes CLA, Mercedes CL, Mercedes E-Class, Mercedes GL, Mercedes GLA, Mercedes GLK, Mercedes S-Class, Mercedes SL, Mercedes SLK-Class, Mercedes CLK and Mercedes A-Class.
What do we supply?
You will receive a complete car key. That is, a car key including electronics (remote control) and transponder. The electronics ensure that you can open and close the car remotely. The transponder (also called immobilizer) ensures that you can start the car. Also supply a CR2025 battery with it.

How does it work?
The programming (also called pairing / learning / reading in) of this car key will have to be done by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostic company. Before ordering, check with a company in your area if they can program the key for you.
Note: This key is not pre-programmed by the manufacturer. Because of this, the car key cannot be programmed by a dealer. The dealer orders a pre-programmed car key from the importer/wholesaler based on your chassis number (vehicle identification number).
What should you do?
Contact our customer service, so we can program the smart key for you and grind the emergency key.

Step 1. Inquire at a local car dealership, specialty garage or auto diagnostic company if they can program keys with electronics.
Step 2. Order the required car key and have it programmed by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostic company.
Step 3. Have the emergency key (iron key) sharpened by a key maker / chop shop.
