Description
This Lexus compatible 2-button flip key with straight key blade allows you to convert your old (damaged) key housing into a flip key. Among others suitable for Lexus ES300, Lexus GS/LS/LX, Lexus IS200, Lexus IS300 and Lexus RX300.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No it is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a flip key without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model 1354. If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter sub-cup and place them in the new clap key housing. Close the housing.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly functioning folding key!

Great ratchet wrench2022-08-11My car key kept breaking off; this is a common problem with older Lexus and Toyota keys. I ordered a flip key, transferred the inner mechanism, and had the key bit cut. It’s much sturdier and works perfectly. The key looks slightly different from the picture. The key bit is rotated 90 degrees, so the key has to be used a little differently than usual. The quality is excellent.
