Description
This Range Rover compatible 3-button flip key with straight key blade (HU92) is ideal to replace your damaged or faulty flip key. Suitable for Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a good working clapkey again without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and insert them into the new clapkey. Note that your current folding key is glued. Using a sharp object, open the key housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3: Glue the parts of the key housing together.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly functioning folding key again.
