Description
Jeep compatible 3-button key housing with point key blade (Y160) to replace your damaged or defective key housing. Among others suitable for Jeep Commander, Jeep Compass, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Wrangler.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a properly working key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics, battery and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.
