How do I replace the ignition key?
You can have a fully functional ignition key again without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing ignition key, remove the transponder/immobilizer, and transfer it to the new ignition key.
Step 2. Have a locksmith copy the key blade (the metal part that goes into the ignition).
Step 3. Close the casing. That’s it—you now have a fully functional ignition key again.
