Description
This Ford compatible 4-button smart key housing with straight key blade is ideal to replace your damaged or defective car key. The smart key housing is suitable for, among others: Ford Bronco, Ford Edge, Ford Maverick and Ford Ranger XLT.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a new functioning smart key housing without any technical knowledge. As long as you reuse your original electronics, reprogramming is not necessary.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing smart key and remove the circuit board, transponder and battery. Place these parts into the new smart key housing. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the straight key blade to the new housing or have it sharpened by a Carkeyglobal.com or a key maker.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a properly working smart key again.
