No, you can replace your old key housing without any technical knowledge. You simply transfer the electronics and transponder from your current key.
What do you need to do?
- Step 1. Open your existing key and remove the electronics and transponder.
- Step 2. Place the parts into the new key housing. Also transfer the key blade or have it sharpened at a locksmith. Seal the housing securely.
Compare photos.
