Description
This Ford compatible 3-button flip key with straight key blade (HU101) allows you to convert your old (damaged) key housing into a flip key. The key is suitable for Ford Mondeo, Ford Focus, Ford Ka, Ford Fusion and Ford Suit, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model FORD17 . If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, take out the electronics and starter sub-cup and place them in the new flip key housing.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly working clap key!

Bit complicated, but works fine.2021-07-21Great key for this price, bit of play on the key blade relative to the housing but it works. Converting the Ford Focus C-Max 2006 key does require a bit more daring and expertise. The ceramic immobilizer is glued into the Ford key and must be carefully cut out of the key without damage.

3 button key ford2018-12-11It's a great key. Too bad that the symbols on the key of the locks open and close and the case are already off. I do regret that the white symbols are already off the key:disappointed:use something better paint or ink for the symbols.

Was a bit of a hassle though2015-12-04Was a bit of a hassle to transfer the chip and code chip, with the old one it fell into a couple of pins and in this one it's just loose. fixed it with some tape and then put the key back together. the whole thing holds everything nicely in place. now it works super.Shop reply:
