Description
With this Fiat compatible 1-button flip key with point key blade (SIP22) you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a flip key. The key is suitable for Fiat Punto, Fiat Stilo, Fiat Bravo, Fiat Doblo, Fiat Ducato and Fiat Multipla, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model 2018 or model 1055. Do you have another model this folding key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter sub-cup and insert them into the new folding key housing.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly working clap key!

Beautiful, but laborious fit of circuit board2023-02-05It does look neat and is good to build, but it still fails to activate the microswitch with the button. The thickness internally is not in good shape yet.While the PCB is quite clamped, the switch is difficult to operate and I fear it is already half depressed in the clamp, given how often the red LED for the hole comes on. Hope you have some tips around that.

Dear car key, I have the2016-08-02Dear car key, I have the key in use however I had to adjust a few things, I had ordered a new microswitch from you you indicated a replacement which is dust tight on the site, however the push button is too high which kept it pressed. By milling 1 mm from the push button of the housing it fit. Only it did not make contact because the contact of the battery is too low. By bending the lip slightly upward it makes contact with the PCB again. Now the remote control works again. Also the immobilizer chip could not be fixed in the housing with some hot glue. Slip key ordered, and what turned out!2016-07-04Folding key ordered, and what turned out! The beard was crooked and the key didn't close properly, the remote didn't work properly either, so the key was sent in. They checked everything, but the folding key turned out not to be a good choice. They took a copy of the original key, converted everything (transponder + remote control even with battery) so that I now have a good working key, and this for a mere 7.95 euro incl insured shipping. Chapeau car key!!! Thanks to Midas.Shop reply:
