Description
With this Fiat compatible 1-button flip key with point key blade (SIP22) you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a flip key. The key is suitable for Fiat Punto, Fiat Stilo, Fiat Bravo, Fiat Doblo, Fiat Ducato and Fiat Multipla, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model 2018 or model 1055. Do you have another model this folding key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter sub-cup and insert them into the new folding key housing.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly working clap key!

A nice but tricky PCB layout2023-02-05It looks neat and is easy to assemble, but I still can't get the button to activate the microswitch. The internal clearance isn’t quite right yet. While the PCB is securely clamped in place, the switch is difficult to operate, and I’m afraid it might already be half-pressed while in the clamp, given how often the red LED in front of the hole lights up. Hopefully you have some tips on how to fix this.

Dear Car Key, I have the2016-08-02Dear Car Key, I’m using the key, but I had to make a few adjustments. I ordered a new microswitch from you, and you sent me a replacement that’s listed on your website. However, the push button is too high, causing it to stay pressed down. By milling 1 mm off the push button from the housing, it fit. However, the battery wasn’t making contact because the battery contact point is too low. By bending the tab slightly upward, it makes contact with the circuit board again. Now the remote control works again. The start-blocking chip also could not be secured in the housing; however, using some hot glue, it was possible to secure it in the housing. I ordered a ratchet wrench, and guess what!2016-07-04I ordered a flip key, and guess what! The key blade was crooked and the key didn’t lock properly; the remote control wasn’t working right either, so I sent the key back. They checked everything, but the flip key turned out not to be a good choice. They took a copy of the original key, reprogrammed everything (transponder + remote control, even including the battery), so now I have a key that works perfectly—all for a mere 7.95 euros, including insured shipping.
