This ignition key with a straight blade and notch (VA2), suitable for Citroën and Peugeot, is ideal for replacing your damaged or defective key. It’s also suitable for making a copy of your key so you’ll have an (extra) spare key.

How do I replace the ignition key?
You can have a fully functional ignition key again without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
To replace your damaged or defective ignition key:
- Open your existing ignition key, remove the immobilizer, and transfer it to the new ignition key. Close the casing.
- Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into the ignition lock) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key cut (duplicated) by a locksmith.
- That’s it—you now have a fully functional ignition key again.
An (extra) spare key:
- Take your original key and the new key to the locksmith.
- Have the immobilizer copied. The immobilizer ensures that your car can start.
- Have the key duplicated by the locksmith.
- That’s it—you now have an (extra) spare key.
