Description
This Citroën compatible 3-button folding key with straight key blade with notch in the side (HU83) allows you to convert your old (damaged) key into a folding key. Among others suitable for Citroën C2, Citroën C3, Citroën C4, Citroën C5 and Citroën C6.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check that your current key is model 1126A. If you have another model, this folding key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter sub-cup and place them in the new clap key housing. Close the housing.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly working folding key!
