Description
Citroën compatible 2-button car key including electronics (433MHZ) and immobilizer (PCF7961). The key blade is straight with a notch on the side (HU83). The key is suitable as (extra) spare key and among others suitable for the Citroën C1, Citroën C2, Citroën C3, Citroën C4, Citroën C5, Citroën C8, Citroën Berlingo, Citroën Jumper and Citroën Jumpy(models after April 2011).
What do we supply?
You will receive a complete car key. That is, a car key including electronics (remote control) and transponder. The electronics ensure that you can open and close the car remotely. The transponder (also called immobilizer) ensures that you can start the car. We also supply a battery with it.

How does it work?
Programming (also called linking / learning / reading in) of this car key will have to be done by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostics company. Before ordering, check with a company in your area if they can program the key for you.
Note: This key is not pre-programmed by the manufacturer. Because of this, the car key cannot be programmed by a dealer. The dealer orders a pre-programmed car key from the importer/wholesaler based on your chassis number (vehicle identification number).
What should you do?
Step 1. Enquire at a local car dealer, specialist garage or car diagnostic company whether they can program keys with electronics.
Step 2. Order the required car key and have it programmed by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostic company.

Carefully compare the photos of your current car key with the offered car key. Please note that with this model, the battery is attached in the housing and not on the electronics.
