What do you need to do?

Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
Step 3. That's all - you now have a functioning key housing again.
