Description
Chrysler compatible 3-button key housing with point key blade (Y160) to replace your damaged or defective key housing. The key is suitable for Chrysler PT Cruiser, Dodge Caliber, Dodge Nitro, Dodge Ram, Dodge Caravan, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No it is not necessary, you can have a functioning key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics, battery and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.
