With this 3-button folding key with a pointed key blade (HU46), compatible with Chevrolet, you can convert your old (damaged) key casing into a folding key.
Is technical knowledge required?
No, it’s not necessary—you can turn your regular key casing into a flip key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check whether your current key . If you have a different model, this flip key won’t fit.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and ignition switch, and place them in the new flip key housing. Close the housing.
Step 3. Have a locksmith make a copy of your key.
Step 4. That’s it—you now have a fully functional flip key!
